  1. my own cousin and i didnt' know you were also such an avid reader! pretty impressive. so it seems you have found 2 authors that you love... what types of books are these? and what do you find appealing? the titles speak towards fantasy. i am in a book club here in ventura. we are having our one year anniversary meeting in a couple weeks. we have read an eclectic collection of books. but outside of the book club i am a book fiend myself. my recommendation for you- the shadow of the wind by zafon. excellent book with suspense, history, a love story and a murder mystery. set in civil war spain. excellent idea about having a blog. let the discussions begin!

  2. Jayavani, you're correct in your assumption that these books are in the fantasy genre... The Jim Butcher ones are detective-fantasy and the David Gemmell ones are heroic fantasy. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll go check it out... But if it sucks then I'll have to burn your house down.
